Marketing Your Website

What's New ?
  Shake Things Up!

Most of us anticipate a vacation or a night out. We look forward to these events because they are different or special. Sometimes our daily business activities become so routine that we forget to give our customers something to get excited about. We may be doing everything right when it comes to running our business but that doesn't mean we can't do more.

Remind your customers that you are still here. There are many ways to shake things up and draw new attention to your business. Have a unique sale, a re-grand opening or an open house. If you have a mailing list, send your customers a thank you for no good reason other than you appreciate their business. You could always do something outrageous but within the bounds of good taste.

A retail store could hire a clown to make balloon animals for the children of their customers. Making children happy makes Parents happy and happy customers tend to return. A business could give away T-shirts representing a local high school sports team. Supporting your local high school attracts entire families as customers.

Developing a strategy that prompts you to shake things up with a unique promotion each year helps you keep your marketing fresh. A new promotion can remind old customers that you are still around and attract new customers as well.
Technology and Medicine

A company named RevMedx has invented a new and innovative way to stop bleeding in narrow wounds, like the ones a soldier may receive from a gun shot wound on the battle field. A retired special forces medic along with medical experts created Xstat, a syringe that injects expandable sterile, specially coated sponges directly in to a wound to stop bleeding.

The device may save lives in combat by providing hemorrhage control for soldiers that are a long way from formal medical care.

RevMedx is also working on a system to that would bolster treatment for smaller wounds.
