What's New ?

Have You Gone Mobile?

A recent report shows steady growth in the mobile market. Not only are more people using smart phones and other mobile devices than ever before, but they are accessing online content at a much larger rate. This demonstrates how important it is that your website is optimized so mobile users can access your content.

The report shows that the mobile market is currently dominated by the iPhone/iPad and devices using the Android OS. Many of the websites accessed by these devices are not optimized for mobile devices and this can drive visitors away.

Reports citing Market Research Firm IDC research state that mobile device shipments over the next 18 months will exceed that of PC's. Although the sale of PC's is projected to increase over this period, mobile devices such as tablets, smart phones and other app enabled devices will be shipped at a higher rate.

Businesses that fail to respond to mobile devices seeking online content may lose huge segments of the current market. Make sure your online content is accessible to the new mobile marketplace and you can emerge as an important source of mobile content.
Japanese Beat the Heat with Air Conditioned Clothing?

While the recent heat wave in the mid west may make this sound reasonable, the recent earthquake & tsunami disaster in Japan makes the ventilated clothing practical.

A company called Kuchofuku Co. Ltd whose name actually means "air-conditioned clothing" is having trouble keeping up with orders of their clothing that includes two embedded fans. The fans can be controlled to draw in air at different speeds which cools the person wearing the garment.

The natural disasters in Japan and damage to a nuclear plant have forced a reduction in energy use which is driving the purchase of the lithium ion battery powered clothing.

The Japanese clothier Kuchofuku makes air-conditioned jackets, shirts, cushions and mattresses.
