Keep It Simple
Have you heard the term "Sales Copy”? If not, you should know
that it simply references the copy or content of your website.
Some people feel it is the single most important ingredient of
a successful website. I wouldn't go that far, but it is
important.
While I don't recommend that everyone place sales copy such as
“The Secret will be revealed for only $39.99 on the home page
of your site". Sites that incorporate this type of sales copy
do have one thing right. They target a specific market and
make certain that their content is simple, quick to load, and
catchy. Every phrase drives you ever closer to the inevitable
"ask to buy".
Why is this good? Because many websites don't focus on a
specific market, they don't discuss a specific need that they
fill, and they never ask the visitor to follow through and
purchase their products or services. And what was it they
wanted to accomplish with their website in the first place?
I am not suggesting that you use the type of sales copy
employed by the websites mentioned above. I am however
suggesting that we target our content to a specific audience,
keep it simple, direct and focused on the message you want to
deliver. This along with an aesthetically pleasing look for
our sites will accomplish what many wish for from their
website.
Keep your sales content simple and direct. Mark Twain said it
best when he said, "Brevity is the Soul of Wit". |
Network Upgrade
This weekend the network hosting all of
our sites will be upgraded. We will be expecting intermittent
outages anytime between 11pm on Friday, October 26 and 12:00pm
on Saturday morning, with the most significant outages
occurring between 3am - 10am. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause you, but we are confident that

performance.
