Grow your Business with Quality Service
There is no other single factor as important as quality
service when it comes to growing or expanding your business.
Without a structure that focuses on providing quality service
a business is eventually exposed as something less than a
quality business. It is easy to fool one self in to believing
that a slick sales force, an A-1 product line or any other
number of things can take its place but ask one of your
customers and they will tell you that quality customer service
is number one when it comes to reasons why they choose a
particular place to shop.
Price may be a determining factor but in the long run most
people will pay a few bucks more to avoid dealing with poor
service. Ask yourself how many times you have returned to a
higher priced competitor because the service at the lower
priced shop was sub-par? We have all done it. And in the end,
we would all rather avoid the head aches associated with poor
customer service.
When someone asks for a referral regarding a business, price
is often the first thing mentioned, but it is almost always
followed by a statement regarding the quality of service. When
was the last time you heard someone say, "Go to Store X they
have the best prices and you can count on their service being
sub-par". No, you are more likely to hear a statement like,
"Store X has decent prices but more importantly they will
treat you right". How can we apply this to
our websites? Customer service for our website is no different
than it is in a physical store. For example would you wait
three days to call a customer back if they called your store?
I hope not. The same is true for email contacts that come
through your website. A fast professional response says a lot
about how you handle customer service. Auto responders can and
do make a difference, an immediate email response letting
customers know how important they are and that you will
contact them soon lets people know you received their message

Why is quality customer service so important? Because in the
end most people will gladly pay to be treated the way we feel
we should be treated. |

In the past month PPP Design has completed two custom contact
management and lead management systems. These systems have one
purpose and that is to provide better customer service which
usually enhances the users bottom line.
Helpdesk systems are another example of customer service
management, when done well these systems offer a way for
customers to track the progress or resolution of questions or
complaints while saving a business expensive man hours. These
systems often store previous questions and their answers as a
knowledge base that provides consumers with quick and easy
answers to their questions.
