Summer Marketing

I hope each of you had a pleasant Memorial Day Weekend.
With the summer season officially upon us marketing can be a little more difficult.

Notice I didn't say impossible, I said a little more difficult. People are consumed with vacation, children home from school, and a myriad of other distractions.

Keep marketing efforts simple and direct. Remind people of the reasons why your business is in a position to make their life easier.

Try something like,
"Stop, Slow down, have you been neglecting your car's maintenance? Let us take care of it for you! You will be glad you did when your family goes on that weekend get a way."

Remind potential customers what you can do for them and they may just let you do it!

Windows XP Update Patch Problems?

A Recent Windows XP Update Patch has caused some serious problems for a small percentage of XP users. Many report an inability to boot up their systems after installing the update. Others receive a Fatal System Error Message.

This problem seems to be affecting a small percentage of XP users who have recently updated or "patched" their computers.

For information and step by step instructions on how to solve the problem, visit the forums listed below.

The Portable Freeware Collection

From the "About" section of the Portable Freeware Site compiled by Andrew Lee.
This site is dedicated to the collection and cataloguing of freeware that can be extracted to any directory and run independently without prior installation. These can be carried around on a memory stick / USB flash drive, or copied / migrated from PC to PC via simple copying of files. Hence the term portable freeware.

This site has a great collection of "non-installed" software.

Programs such as System Information for Windows. A program that details information about your system such as BIOS, CPU, etc.

EssentialPIM functions as a scheduler, contact manager, and outliner. The free program can import information from many major programs such as Outlook and Outlook Express.

Visit the site and download Portable Freeware.
