Marketing Your Site

What's New ?

 The Next Step

So you have done everything you can to promote your website? Your site has been submitted to the search engines, relevant keywords and phrases have been applied to your Meta tags. Your site validates and is being indexed by search engines. Your website content is current and relevant. What is left for you to do?

Actually you are ready to take the next step. The next step is to leverage your website in to a tool that not only saves you time and money but also helps your visitors save as well.

Start by considering how your website can save you time by addressing customer questions or concerns. Why do your customers call your office, can the questions be answered on your website? Can you reduce the time your staff spends on the phone answering the same question over and over again? Not all questions should be answered on your website but there are repetitive inquiries that take an inordinate amount of time to address that can and should be handled online. Many "How To" type questions can be directed to an online guide or tutorial which saves you time and money. Your customers appreciate the thoughtfulness behind providing the guide.

Are there documents and forms that you need your customers to fill out before they visit your office? Direct customers to your website to download and pre-fill the forms at their convenience this saves you and your customers time when they arrive at your office.

Make samples available online, such as color swatches and chips, this may make purchasing much easier when a customer arrives at your store. Your staff should be aware in this case that not all monitors view colors the same.

Turn your website in to a site of authority, offer tutorials, demonstrations and how to tips on using your products and your visitors will return again and again. The use of video is becoming more prevalent on the internet and can be used to demonstrate products and accessories.

The Next Step depends largely on what industry you are in but these tips should get you thinking about ways to leverage your website.

New TerraZune ~ March 31, 2008

It has finally happened! The storage and power capabilities we dreamed could only take place in another generation or perhaps dimension of computing has been accomplished in our life time.

The new TerraZune MP4, MP3, AVi, Jpg, DVD, VHS, battery charger, lap top, tablet pc etc. is now available. It was rolled out on March 23rd and is considered one of the miracles of computer science for this century. Considering that we are only 8 years in to the new millennium this is quite a phenomenon.

The TerraZune can store two terabytes of data, that is equivalent to 2048 gigabytes or 2,097,152 megabytes. That means 524,288 songs or 1,398,101 .jpg image files or pictures.

The solar powered motor that runs the TerraZune generates enough power to jump start your car if necessary (Cables are optional).

Due to the storage and power capabilities of the TerraZune laptops are expected to soon become obsolete. The infrared powered pen can write up to 10 gigs of data on the touch screen without needing replacement.

The TerraZune can store up to 2,796 DVD quality movies making DVD recorders a short lived technology. It's 10" by 7" HD screen will replace many mobile DVD players as well.

Mobile computing power will never be the same, the TerraZune is getting rave reviews from internationally renowned fitness experts as well as physicians. Weighing in at 31 lbs the mobile unit will create an instant workout for what is expected to be it's millions of users. An optional pull behind cart is available.

The real shocker involving the TerraZune is it's price! Two easy payments of 69.95. You read correctly, $140 for computing power that rivals super computers of 10 years ago. Now, before you rush out to buy the New TerraZune please consider what day tomorrow is! We just wanted to be the first!

Microsoft Word Tips

Make a vertical text selection.

Anyone that has used Microsoft word has probably copied text horizontally. But what about vertical text selection? Have you ever needed to get rid of the text at the beginning of several sentences? Here is a tip that will show you how.

Hold down the [Alt] key while dragging your cursor down over the selected text and then use cut or delete to remove the text.

This example only discusses text at the beginning of sentences, but this tip will work on any vertical text, even in the middle of a paragraph.

Combine this with the Replace function available from the [Edit} menu and you have a powerful editing tool.
