What's New Going Digital Digital photography isn't new, but in the last six months it certainly has become more affordable. As new technology emerges, current technology becomes more affordable. Remember VCR's, when they first came on the market they were expensive, at least expensive enough that they weren't common household items. The same is true of digital camera's, and camcorders. What was once a very expensive luxury has become the standard. When you consider that you can buy a modest digital camera for $150 dollars, "develop" the film on your computer and print pictures on just about any color printer, it's hard to argue that digital is to expensive. Is the picture quality any better? In a word, YES! The pixels per square inch are substantially higher than analog or traditional cameras. This translates into richer, sharper pictures. If
your thumb was always in front of the lens, or if you forget to take the
lens cap off, going digital won't help. But if you want the ability to
take pictures or video, view them immediately, and store them in a hard
format, such as your hard drive or CD, digital is the way to go. |

$ Marketing Your Site $ If you send statements, billings, or notices to your customers, add an extra slip of paper that has your web site address in large print. Better yet, use that computer for something other than a very expensive e-mail machine and create business cards that only list your web site. Try sending them along with all your mail, especially when paying a bill......what do you do if there is something else in that payment envelope??? People are happy to see your check, so, why not catch them in a good mood? Don't be embarrassed, all of the Fortune 500 companies add inserts to there mail at some point or another, why not you? |
