Three Promotional Strategies for Marketing Your Website

Before we get to the three promotional strategies, lets take a look at your market first. Place your advertising where potential clients will see it. Ask yourself these
questions about your target market…

Where do they go?
What do they read?
Who do they do business with and talk to?
What do they like to do in their spare time?
What are their hobbies or interests?
Where are they likely to see or hear your promotions?

If advertising is used in the wrong place your target market may never see it and you will have wasted time, money and effort.

After you have answered these questions apply the following three promotional strategies to reach your target market.

Tell Every One!
Let People Know. Word of Mouth is often the best marketing tool. Tell your friends, family, co-workers, employees, suppliers, sales people, neighbors, tell everyone about your website. The more people that know about your website, the more likely it is that a potential customer will hear about it.

Take Advantage of Free Publicity
Join the Chamber of Commerce and other Community Organizations, many offer networking opportunities, discounted advertising, and free business directories. If your company does something out of the ordinary let area press outlets know about it. Many small to medium size news papers, radio stations and TV stations are looking for "Local Business Does Well" and "Human Interest Stories".

Write Articles, Newsletters and How to Columns
If you have been in business for a few years you already know more about topics concerning your industry than everyone else does. Your expertise is what people really want to purchase, otherwise sales would all be completed online or through mail order. Offer your articles to area newspapers, post them on your website and submit them to trade magazines. This is fantastic publicity and all it takes is time and a spell checker.

Use these inexpensive strategies and you will be well on your way to marketing your website successfully.

PPP Design is New

Well not really, but our website is. PPP Design has a new look and a few new functions.

The new website content is similar to what we had before with a few revisions, additions, and changes.

Our "Request A Quote" form has gone through a major overhaul. It is a little more user friendly and easier on the eyes. It also asks more brand identity questions, and a question regarding mobile optimization has been added.

The site map has been re-done for easier navigation and a few new Marketing FAQ have been added to the site as well..

Other than the new look, the Website Marketing Checklist has gone through the biggest change. The Marketing checklist is now broken in to categories and new questions have been added. Each category is scored individually, offering a more precise look at Website Marketing strengths and weaknesses. A total score is also calculated so you have an idea where you are at in your overall marketing efforts. The checklist only takes about five minutes to fill out and your results are displayed immediately. Check it out at the link below.

Pay Online with PayPal® is another new addition to the PPP Design site. We have had more requests for an online payment option lately and thought this would be the most convenient way to address this need. There is a simple form on our end and then you will be transferred to PayPal® for secure payment options. PayPal® has "relaxed" it's member only policy and now everyone can use their secure services.

Visit the PPP Design Website to see all of the changes.
