Mass E-Mail ?

Previously we discussed using E-Mail as a marketing tool, E-mail has been and still is an excellent way to promote your web site.

Lately however the internet has been inundated by ads stating:
" You can get thousands of responses by using Bulk E-mailing Services".
This is true, however you probably wouldn't like the response you get.

Bulk E-mail is commonly known as spam and most people don't like it. It is the electronic equivalent of junk mail. The responses you receive will more than likely be angry recipients letting you know that they don't appreciate being spammed.

Instead, create a pre-approved E-mail list. A list of recipients who agree to receive information from you periodically. For example: An electronics store could ask if customers would like to be informed when new product lines come in. A form that allows visitors to submit their E-mail address can even be added to your web site so they can receive information about your latest offering.

When a new product line is introduced, those who have submitted their E-mail address are the first to know. Remember, people don't want everyone else to know whose mailing lists they are on, so be careful and respect their privacy.

MailWasher

Are you tired of getting unwanted E-mail? Would you like to see who your E-mail is from before you even download it? MailWasher, a mail monitoring software program is easy to use and effective.

You can even view an E-mail before you download it. The program is relatively simple to use and it is donation ware. This means that you may use the software for free if you don't mind an unobtrusive ad relating to the software on the top of the program. Otherwise the program may be registered so the ad will be removed and additional support will be provided.

MailWasher not only allows you to delete mail from the server, it also lets you bounce an E-mail back to the sender so it appears they have reached a closed or non-existent E-mail account. Your friends can be added to a friends list to assure that their mail is never deleted or bounced.

 MailWasher Runs on Win95 / 98 / Me / NT4 / 2000 / XP / XP Pro

If you are tired of spam find out more about MailWasher using the link in the Links section of this newsletter.
