Lady Monarchs Vs Heelan |
Laura (10) out maneuvered a Heelan player and took the ball in to the middle before passing up field.

The ball was cleared by Heelan and Jill (3) ran up and pounded the ball back toward the goal. The ball went just to the left of the post. |
The Lady Monarchs picked off the goal kick and Abby (2) surveyed the field before making a pass.

Heelan took control of the ball and moved up field. Bria (12) stepped in front of a Heelan player and kicked the ball away.

The ball rolled loose until a Heelan player picked it up and made a run for the goal. Turissa (GK) came out of the box and made a nice stop. |
Maura (4) followed up by clearing the ball for the Lady Monarchs.

Heelan tried to take the ball back inside but Jill (3) beat two players for control of the ball and sent it up field.
|
Jill (3) was tripped as she moved up field but there was no call. |
The ball was kicked from outside and rolled past players from both teams, a Heelan player had what looked like an easy shot but Turissa (GK) came out of the box and broke up the play. |
Heelan took the goal kick to the corner where Brooke (7) made the steal, as she turned to pass the ball her legs were kicked out from behind and the Lady Monarchs earned a penalty kick.

Brooke (7) sent the penalty kick up field.

Emily (11) knocked down the penalty kick and sent it to the outside.

Laura (10) took the ball down the side line then made a pass to the inside. The ball was deflected and rolled loose. |
Heelan made a quick transition up field and Turissa (GK) came out of the box to clear the ball.

Heelan came right back at the goal and Turissa (GK) made the stop and sent the ball back in to play. |
Later, Heelan moved toward the goal again and Kris (5) forced the play to the outside.

Bria (12) challenged a shooter in the corner.

The Lady Monarchs cleared the ball and Jill (3) brought the ball up field.

Emily (11) took control of the ball and made a pass inside.

Later, Caitlyn (8) took a pass from Emily and fired a shot at the goal. |
The keeper bobbled the ball and Abby (2) crashed the goal for a shot but the Keeper tipped the ball away. |
Heelan moved up field toward the Lady Monarch goal and Kayla (15) cleared the ball.

The ball was deflected and Brooke (7) followed up.

Bria (12) brought the ball up the sideline for the Lady Monarchs.

There was a penalty called on Heelan and Bria (12) handled the penalty kick.

Caitlyn (8) advanced the ball up field.

Abby (2) brought the ball up field and made a pass to the outside.

Heelan kicked the ball out and Caitlyn (8) handled the throw in. |
Emily (11) sent the throw in to the middle.

Abby (2) sent a shot toward the goal. The ball was deflected and the Lady Monarchs earned a corner kick.

Maura (4) handled the corner kick for the Lady Monarchs. |
Emily (11) lost her footing as she took a shot at the goal.

The ball rolled past the Keeper but a defender was able to clear the ball just before it entered the goal. |
Bria (12) cut off the ball after it was cleared and sent it back toward the goal. The Keeper bobbled the ball but gained control. |
Kayla (15) made a nice play at the other end of the field when she tipped the ball away from a Heelan player that was trying to set up a shot.

Emily (17) cleared the loose ball.

A little later, Heelan tried to move toward the goal but Laura (10) cleared the ball.
|
Nicole (25) moved the ball across mid field then made a nice pass to the outside.

Maura (4) took the ball up the sideline and sent the ball toward the goal. The ball floated a little and went over the top bar.

Heelan made another run for the goal but Turissa (GK) made another nice stop.
