Monarch Senior Captains, Colin (44), Kirk (54), Taylor (88) and Josh (67) shook hands with MOC-FV Team Captains at midfield prior to kick-off.

Jacob (22) kicked off for the Monarchs.

The M.O.C. running back broke free in the middle of the field. Jacob (22) and Aaron (2) teamed up for a stop on the return that saved a touchdown. The was a flag on the play.

The penalty was on M.O.C. and Jacob (22) kicked again. The kick resulted in a touchback.

Garet (89), Taylor (88) and Colin (44) teamed up for a stop after a short gain up the middle.

The Monarch Cheerleaders kept the crowd in the game during a cold night.

Colin (44) made the initial hit on a sweep to the right . Several hot several other Monarchs joined in.

Cody (5) and Garet (89) made the stop up the middle.

Daniel (36) made the tackle after a short reception near the sideline.

Alex (41) forced the ball carrier out of bounds after a run around the left end.

Cody (5) dragged down the running back at the ten yard line.

Nathan (51), Garet (89) and Colin (44) made the stop on the next play.

M.O.C. scored on the next play. Alex (41) and Daniel (36) made it in to the back field during the P.A.T. but could not get a hand on the ball.

Cody (5) had a nice return for the Monarchs.

Ryan (30) picked 5 yards on first down.

Daniel (36) took the ball around the right end and picked up three yards.

Ryan (30) took the ball up the middle for a first down and more.

Brandan (10) kept the ball around the left end and picked up 7 yards.

Brandan (10) dropped back and zipped the ball up field.

Alex (41) made the catch and turned up field.

Alex (41) flew down the sideline and then stiff armed a defender at the ten yard line so he could add two yards to the 28 he had already picked up after the catch. The pass play netted 40 yards.

Ryan (30) picked up five yards behind a nice surge by the O-Line.

Kerry (1) had a nice block on the left end allowing Daniel (36) to run 4 yards in to the end zone untouched.

Kerry (1) held the ball as Jacob (22) put it through the uprights to tie the game at 7.

Jacob (22) kicked off for the Monarchs.

Noah (52) and David (25) took the feet out from under the back and stopped the return at the 13 yard line.

Taylor (88) and Derek (87) made the stop on the next play.

Colin (44) ran down the Dutchmen running back and tackled him after a sweep to the left.

Daniel (36) held on to the leg of a receiver until Colin (44) came and took him off his feet.

Colin (44) snagged the M.O.C. running back and pulled him down after a short gain.

Cody (5) dragged down an M.O.C. receiver after a long pass up the sideline.

Garet (89) pulled down the running back after a run around left end.

Kirk (54) and Garet (89) made a stop in the back field for the Monarchs.

Kirk (54) and Daniel (33) teamed up and sacked the M.O.C. Q.B on the next play.

Garet (89) laid out for a pass and a potential interception but the ball was just out of reach.

The Dutchmen were forced to try a field goal and Alex (41) almost picked it off. The field goal was good giving M.O.C. a three point lead.

Daniel (36) broke a tackle and picked up 5 extra yards on a nice return out to the 41 yard line.

Brandan (10) dropped back and zipped a pass toward the sideline.

Jacob (22) made the catch and picked up three yards.

Brandan (10) took off around the right end and picked up 9 yards and a first down.

Daniel (36) ran up the middle and broke to the outside, he took advantage of the Field Turf field and made several cuts as he flew up the sideline for a 28 yard gain.

A nice push by the O-Line and a Q.B. sneak netted 4 yards for the Monarchs.

A timeout was called after an incomplete pass and Coach Wiebers spoke to the offense.

Brandan (10) dropped back, pump faked, then floated a ball in to the far corner of the end zone.

Jacob (22) pulled the ball in and made certain he was in bounds as he scored the go ahead touch down.

Several Monarchs congratulated Jacob (22) and celebrated the touchdown.

Kerry (1) held the ball and Jacob (22) kicked it through the uprights to give the Monarchs a 4 point lead.

Garet (89) made the initial contact and Taylor (88) finished the tackle on the return.

Daniel (36) picked off a pass at about the 20 yard line and returned it 56 yards to the 34. A late penalty brought the Monarchs back across mid field.

The Monarchs were eventually forced to punt and Cody (5) put the ball in play.

Nathan (90) made the tackle on the next play.

M.O.C. was forced to punt and Kerri (1) handled the return and brought the ball out to the 40.

Brandan (10) dropped back to pass and zipped the ball up field.

Jacob (22) made the catch and turned up field for a couple of yards.

The O-Line opened a big hole and Ryan (10) took advantage of it then he ran over a defender on his way to a first down and a 7 yard gain.

Brandan (10) dropped back and released the ball toward the sideline.

Colin (44) made the catch, broke a tackle, then tight roped the sideline and regained his balance as he picked up 8 yards and a first down after the catch.

Ryan (30) picked up three yards up the middle.

Brandan (10) dropped back, pump faked, then threw to the end zone again.

Alex (41) was in the end zone and drew a well deserved pass interference.

Brandan (10) threw a complete pass to the10 yard line, the ball was fumbled and Ryan (30) made the tackle after a long return.

M.O.C. drove the ball down to the twenty then threw to the end zone. Alex (41) picked off the pass and was knocked down in the end zone.

The Monarchs took over at the 20 and took a knee to take a 4 point lead to the locker room at half time.

The Captains from both teams met at mid field before the start of the second half.

Kirk (54) made the tackle at the line during the Dutchmen's first play of the half.

M.O.C. eventually scored on the drive and Daniel (36) handled the return.

The Monarchs were forced to punt again and Nathan (90) along with Josh (67) made the stop on the return.

Later, Taylor (88) dropped the Q.B. for a 5 yard loss.

Cody (5) made a great defensive play as he tipped the ball away from the receiver on a long pass play.

Garet (89) made a key defensive stop as the Dutchmen tried pick up a third and twenty.

Brandan (10) dropped back to pass after Ryan (30) picked up 5 yards up the middle.

Taylor (88) made the catch and was tackled almost immediately after.

Brandan (10) kept the ball around the left end and picked up a first down.

Ryan (30) was the work horse on this drive and he ran up the middle for 5or 6 yards.

Ryan (30) picked up 8 more yards on this run off of left tackle.

Brandan (10) dropped back and threw up field.

Colin (44) made the catch and twisted for an extra yard.

Daniel (36) took the ball around the right end and followed some nice blocks up field.

Daniel (36) cut inside and sprinted in to the end zone for a Monarch touchdown.

The Monarchs celebrated the touch down in the end zone.
